Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover – 4/5 Stars

· have ever made a decision that impacts the rest of your life

Synopsis:
After being in prison for 5 years for a car accident that killed her boyfriend, Scotty, Kenna is back in town and is determined to be reunited with her daughter. In order to do that, she has to gain the forgiveness of Scotty’s parents who are still devastated from the loss of their only son.
My Thoughts on the Book:
This book definitely hit all of my emotions! Kenna’s story is so heartbreaking and I loved how she pushed through so many obstacles to get what she wanted. I did find that a lot of the character development was a bit surface-level so I had some trouble connecting with the MCs. The ending also felt sort of rushed and I wish the resolution had started happening a bit sooner in the book.
Ledger is a total dream and his relationship with Diem was the sweetest thing ever. I also loved his complete trust in Kenna and how badly he wanted to help her fix her mistakes.
