She decides she has no time to act on it, until her nemesis returns to the city and seems to also have an eye for him.
My Thoughts on the Book:
This book was light and fun while still bringing a lot of depth to the characters. I loved the development of Rohan and Kamila’s relationship, from being best friends since childhood to realizing they were perfect together.
While I did love that Kamila was depicted as a woman who cares about her appearance and loves to socialize while still being very career-driven, I found her to be insufferable overall. I loved how she put on a Bollywood party for her friends every weekend but it got to the point where she was almost annoying about both having to do it and making them over the top. She was also constantly jumping to conclusions which was super annoying. I also found this one to be almost too much of a slow burn!
There is a lot of humour with this one which still made it enjoyable, I just happened to roll my eyes when those funny parts came from the MC…
