Isn’t It Bromantic?

Read this if you:
· love the Bromance Book Club crew
· swoon over an overprotective love interest
· like a leading lady who makes her own decisions and takes care of herself

Synopsis:
When her father, a Russian journalist, disappears mysteriously, Elena makes the decision to marry Vlad, her childhood friend, and move to the US where he is a professional hockey player. Vlad tries to be happy with this convenient arrangement but eventually turns to his pals in the Bromance Book Club for advice on how to make his wife truly love him. Just as it seems they are making strides in their relationship, Elena’s past comes back to haunt them and ruin everything they worked hard to build.

My thoughts on the book:
I love love love this series so much and this book was no exception. The Russian was a comic relief in so many of the other books, it was so good to finally hear his story and lean more about his softer, more serious side. The relationship with him and Elena tugged at my heart, I loved reading about their background and how they came to be together and eventually fall in love. One of my least favourite tropes is miscommunication so the lack of sharing between the two almost spoiled this one for me but their love was so sweet, I quickly got over it.
I will say – this one left me with a lot of questions also… What was Vlad actually saying on their wedding day that Elena overheard? What did Elena do with her information from the immigration lawyer? Who won the Stanley Cup???
